Alice Tipton Landscapes: Two Ways, 2020. Cotton warp and naturally dyed wool singles weft. 8.75” x 9.75” each. These pieces are based on the tapestries of Alice Tipton, a weaver who worked at John C. Campbell during the 20th c. The left piece is woven in her style, using single weft interlock. The right piece uses the same materials and cartoon but is woven using inlay.
