Allie Dudley (they/them) is a textile artist working primarily in weaving and stitching. Their work originates in historical textiles, drawing on Appalachian coverlets and antique stitching samplers. They combine analog and digital processes with historical techniques to pull the threads of these techniques from the past into the present. Allie works as the Textiles & Natural Fibers Coordinator at John C. Campbell Folk School and is currently living and weaving on Tsalagi (Cherokee) land in western North Carolina.
